Gentle Earth Recycling is committed to developing innovative recycling programs for the private and public sectors that will limit the abundance of reusable materials from ending up in landfills every year while supporting initiatives to improve the environmental quality of our community through recovery, reuse, recycling and effective energy use. Gentle Earth Recycling now serves Broken Arrow, Bixby, South Tulsa (commerical-all of Tulsa) and Owasso with both residential and commercial programs.

We accept the following items for recycling: 

• Aluminum Cans 
• Newspapers (including inserts)
• Magazines
• Clear and colored plastic bottles (#1 and #2 - detergent, water, and 2 liter, etc.)
• Corrugated cardboard.
  * Pizza boxes are corrugated but our drop off site told us that these boxes are contaminated by the food and cannot be recycled.
• Telephone Books
• Steel Cans

 

Preparing items for recycling:

• Rinse out all containers
• Remove lids (plastic lids cannot be recycled)
• Newspaper must be kept dry

                                We do not pickup Glass, Office Paper, or Mail

There is a one time charge for your bin of $15 plus tax

Please place your bin by the curb the night before or
on your designated pickup day by 6:00 a.m.
